Lemvis will take you on a mystical journey from the early Memphis Sun records days to the present. Lemvis captures the spirit of both entertainers in voice, mannerisms, charisma and song and is sure to leave audiences raving and wanting more. You will be amazed at how close he sounds to both artists, from the rough, deep monotones of Cash to the playful, smooth, passionate and powerful voice of the King.
Johnny Cash songs in his repertoire include Ring of fire, Folsom prison blues, I walk the line, Big river, Sunday morning coming down, A boy named Sue, I still miss someone, Don’t take your guns to town, Cry, cry, cry, A ballad of a teenage queen, Orange blossom special, Hurt and many more. As the King, Lemvis will blast out classic like Viva Las Vegas, All shook up, Suspicious minds, Don’t be cruel, Teddy Bear, Burning love, Hound dog, Heartbreak hotel, An American trilogy as well as tender love ballads such as Cant help falling in love, Are you lonesome tonight, Blue Hawaii, Always on my mind and of course Love me tender.
This show will appeal to young and old alike and with the recent box office smash movie ‘Walk the line’ Johnny Cash has made a huge resurgence in popularity. Lemvis portrays a young Cash (50s, 60s) when he was in his prime and had most of his big hits. The Elvis sets are based on the Kings late 60s and 70s (Las Vegas/Aloha from Hawaii shows).
